Next Month! The Coaches Summit: A Playground of Possibilities

The SF Bay Area ICF Chapter is hosting their first in-person Coaches Summit on September 18, 2026, at the Exploratorium. It's a full day built by coaches, for coaches.
The day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and centers around connection, reflection, and practical skill-building. The keynote speaker is Joshua Freedman, who'll be presenting "What If You're the One Avoiding Feelings? Emotional Intelligence for the Coach."
What makes this summit different is how customizable it is.
-
You choose your own path through the day by selecting three breakout sessions from options like improv, art, supervision, rhythm, burnout, theater, embodied somatic practices, mindfulness, or AI.
-
You also pick a Community Circle that matches your focus area, whether that's AI, Belonging/DEI, Credentialing, Executive Coaching, Neuro-affirmative Coaching, or Social Impact. These circles give you space for deeper discussions before, during, and after the summit.
The goal isn't just professional development. It's about building relationships with other coaches who are on the same path, talking honestly about what's working and what's hard in your practice, and reconnecting with why you became a coach in the first place.
You'll walk away with practical tools you can use with clients the next day, plus 7.0 ICF CCE credits (4.75 Core Competency and 2.25 Resource Development).
Many coaches have already registered, but a few spots remain. If you're looking to reflect, connect, and grow alongside your peers, this is your chance.
