Your CCEs Are Closer Than You Think: A Mid-Year Update
Posted on Jun. 29, 2026 / Chapter News / Subscribe 0
As coaches, we need to renew our ICF credentials every three years, which means obtaining 40 CCE units, including at least 24 Core Competency (CC) credits, 3 hours of ethics training, and up to 16 Resource Development (RD) hours.
Exciting news! If you attended all the amazing 2026 programming listed below, from January through June, you would already be halfway to your goal.
-
Supervision sessions: Run on the first Wednesday of the month from 8 to 9:30 am.
-
ICF Competency 1: On March 12th, Inga Bielinska led us in a reflection about ethics and ethical maturity.
-
ICF Competency 2: On April 23, Laurie Cozart led us in a discussion about Embodying the ICF Coaching Mindset in Team Coaching and what distinguishes team coaching from facilitation and group coaching.
-
ICF Competency 3: On May 27, Lyssa DeHart led us in a discussion about Deepening Partnerships and how co-created agreements help both coach and client get oriented to what matters most.
-
ICF Competency 4: On June 24, Debra Kopelman led us in a reflection about trust and safety, exploring how coaches can create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and respected.
-
Improv! On June 26th, Mallory Penny led in an in-person improv session where we participated in playful, low-pressure activities, building Core Competency skills such as Active Listening, Evokes Awareness, and Cultivates Trust and Safety.
More programming is coming out in the second half of 2026. Consider joining our virtual programs (7 CCs), supervision (6 CCs), and in-person conference (4.75 CCs) to add 17.75 CCs to your record. All count toward your CCE requirements. The shared learnings and connections are an extra gift to all who attend.
We are looking forward to seeing you at an upcoming session!
