Important Notice For All ICF Members: Beware of Phishing Scams

Posted on Jan. 27, 2026  /  Global Updates  /  0

This is not a warning about the band Phish. Nothing dangerous about them, unless you find jam bands scary. Which admittedly some people do.

We received a warning from the ICF Global Legal Counsel regarding recent phishing attempts directed at ICF members.

Please take caution and be aware that you may receive unsolicited commercial emails from a party misrepresenting itself as being associated with ICF.

  • The email will likely come from the following sender's address: [email protected].
  • That email address and the individuals using it are not associated with ICF, nor are they known to or in any manner approved or endorsed by ICF.
  • The sender identifies themselves as the ICF Digital Support Team, which is both false and intentionally misleading.

The recommendation from ICF is that if you receive one of these email solicitations you ignore and delete it immediately. You may report these unwanted commercial email solicitations to the
Federal Trade Commission and/or your respective state authority charged with enforcing restrictions and prohibitions on unsolicited and misleading commercial email spam.

Stay safe and may the only Phish-ing you partake in is with the band, if that’s your jam.
